Existing Fedrigoni advertisement

This is the existing Fedrigoni Advertisement. What is instantly recognisable is the use of colour. Strong, vivid colours are used throughout the advertisement for Fedrigoni. In many ways, I believe that this devalues the paper quality of Fedrigoni but it certainly does attract attention. I quite like the use of lazer cutting and exposing different layers of papers and different colours of papers. This is an interesting concept which I may explore. Also, I think the top left image here has more of a sophisticated quality to it, the colour pallet is a lot more muted.

Another point to note in all of these advertisements is the use of Fedrigoni paper throughout. Every poster/advertisement showcases Fedrigoni paper in interesting and creative ways. This is something that I definitely need to focus on when developing my ideas. I need to use Fedrigoni papers (or papers that are very similar in quality, they do not specify that the concepts that are produced have to be produced out of Fedrigoni paper). I need to explore what can be achieved with Fedrigoni paper, what qualities make the paper stand out from its competitors.

The ‘love paper’ concept I believe is strong, the message is powerful and simple, but again I believe that it looses some of its sophistication. Fedrigoni papers are rather expensive, but they try to market themselves as affordable. The message ultimately is you get what you pay for, so perhaps this is a way of starting this brief. A simple message like ‘Fedrigoni paper, because you cant afford not too’ may be quite effective. The London show room is a place that designers can collaborate in and work in and is set up by Fedrigoni. I think this is a really effective way of marketing, Fedrigoni are giving something back to the community and it shows the ethos of the company. They are not just about profit. I need to think about what Fedrigoni stand for and explore how they communicate their brand messages and ethos.

I think the posters above are particularly effective. I like the use of the colour wheel and the paper spectrum to showcase different parts of the body, they are simple, bold and expressive posters that look effortlessly designed. The colour scheme is strong, the pallet of colours stand out against the pastel coloured face sillouettes. They are a great set of posters.

The above image shows a guy running on folded paper. Again, colour here is important. The colours used are highly saturated, the guy is running with great enthusiasm, it is a very bright and cheerful poster.

This is a great poster above. It is a really fun and interesting way of presenting Fedrigoni paper. The designer here has made small models of clothes out of a Fedrigoni paper range. This is such an interesting way of showing the diversity of Fedrigoni paper and the extent to which it can be crafted. It is worth noting here that this poster is so successful because the clothes have been made with great care. Each article is hand crafted with precision. If this was poorly executed then the outcome would be weak. I need to carefully consider this when designing my Fedrigoni advisement.
